Temperature for indoor bonsai
Avoid placing your bonsai between a window and curtains, especially in cold weather, as they may freeze. Avoid keeping them near heaters, as it is difficult to provide the humidity that is so important for bonsai near a heat source. They should be misted regularly with a spray bottle.

Be sure to maintain a constant room temperature throughout the year. Deciduous trees are an exception. If the plant has shed its leaves, place it in a cool, but not cold place.
Optimum Temperature for Bonsai in Winter
- for coniferous bonsai from +5 to +10 degrees
- for deciduous trees from +10 to +15 degrees
It is very easy to confuse the state of hibernation and the death of a plant.
Monitor the condition of the bark and branches. If the bonsai has started to dry out, it means that the care is incorrect. Perhaps you have overwatered or over-dried it, or maybe it is freezing.
